In My Dream Last Night I’ve got brains in my head and love in my heart, It hasn’t been so long where can we start? There are people on the street and birds in the sky, When I grow up I’m gonna fly, In the morning I dreamed that I could, I floated down the stairs out into the neighborhood, Everyone was saying, “What’s going on?” music started playing, I sang them a song, In my dream last night I drank some magic potion, Now I’m gonna fly across the sea I’m gonna fly across the ocean, The fish under the waves they are a singing, The seagulls up above they’re a winging on, Across the great ocean on the other side, I visited a new land I stopped to say hi, Everybody there could really shake their legs, They could dance and dance and dance and dance just about all day, They became my friends we hugged and shook hands, Then I had to go so I floated off the land, Everyone was saying, “What’s going on?” drums started beating, so I sang them a song, In my dream last night, I drank some magic potion, I flew across the sea, I flew across the ocean, The fish under the waves, they are a singing, The seagulls up above, they are a winging on, So then I flew back home, Mom was there waiting, In the warm oven, there were muffins baking, I went to hug her but then I heard my name.. Wake up, wake up… I opened up my eyes, the morning had come, It really was a dream, but it sure was fun! Mom was there saying, “What’s going on?” Music started playing, so I sang her a song, In my dream last night, I drank some magic potion, I flew across the sea, I flew across the ocean, The fish under the waves, they are a singing, The seagulls up above, they are a winging on, Well there’s feet in my shoes, and warmth in my heart, It hasn’t been long, we’ve gone so far

Old Macdonald sitting on a fence Scratching his nose with a monkey wrench The wrench got hot and burnt his nose That’s just the way that the story goes Oh my my, oh me may, Old Macdonald’s here today Sittin’ on the fence with my best friend May Old Macdonald ran away Old Macdonald sitting in a tree Scratching his back with a brick of cheese The cheese got hot and he started to cry Let’s go and bake some apple pie! Oh my my, oh me may, Old Macdonald’s here today Sittin’ in the tree with my best friend May Old Macdonald ran away Old Macdonald rowing his boat Scratching his toe with a root beer float The float got cold and his toe turned blue He went dancing in his blue suede shoes Oh my my, oh me may, Old Macdonald’s here today Drinking root-beer floats with my best friend May Old Macdonald ran away Old Macdonald sitting in his car Praying to the moon that it’d take him really far The car drove down his six foot lane He fell out but it drove to Maine Oh my my, oh me may, Old Macdonald’s here today Sittin’ in the car with my best friend May Old Macdonald ran away Oh my my, oh me may, Old Macdonald’s here today Sittin’ in the car with my best friend May Old Macdonald ran away Oh my my, oh me may, Old Macdonald’s here today, Sittin’ on the fence with my best friend May, Old Macdonald decided to stay!

Squealin’ like a… Pig! If I could I’d dance across the land, I’d walk across the land, I’d dance a little jig! But I can’t cause I can’t even stand, I’m a tiny little baby, I’m a tiny little man, Take me up into your arms now please! In the muddy pile of the farm yard, he ate a whole bag of nails, Momma said, “Don’t follow in his example. Keep your nails in a pale!” I’m gonna dance no matter where my feet find me, I’m gonna squeal until I can Da-ee a-ee a-ee aaaance, Da-ee a-ee a-ee aaaance, Da-ee a-ee a-ee aaaance, Da-ee a-ee a-ee aaaance, That’s freaky when you make that weird sound! about

Daniel's music has hinted for years that maybe somewhere down the line he just might jump into the world of children's music. Finally after sprouting and branching out for more than a few turns around the sun, his first record completely inspired by family life with children has come to fruition. 'Welcome to the Purple Park' is a record that was performed in part by him and his family and friends for families and friends of all shapes and ages. The album gets its title from the park that Daniel used to frequent with his once toddler son in Montreal. At the time there was no name for the park so people in the neighbourhood called it the Purple Park even though it was mostly blue.
