Lost Jenny On a Road-trip
She said she’d rather fire the brains in her head,
Then people to look inside and have her read,
She traveled through the stars with Elvis on a spoon,
Sometimes I still think they’ll be home soon,
It was the,
Morning when she dispersed in search of Zen,
In her little vehicle through the falling rain,
The drops came down and they wet her crown,
Mixing with the tear drops that fell from her eyes,
So she stopped and took her glasses off,
The trees had colour that didn’t stop,
They flew up and down into the sky,
Said, “I’ll wait for you!”
(That’s what Jenny said.)
The flocking birds stayed home that day,
When she went and ran away,
The sun was bright but the clouds were gray,
The grass was green but it was mowed for hay,
The flocking birds they ran that day,
When she went and drove away,
The sun was bright but the clouds were gray,
The grass was green but it was mowed…
Dancing to the rhythm of the swaying trees,
Her hair danced with her in the surrounding breeze,
Then the sun came out and Dried, the Rain, Away!!
Everyone thought that since the grass was down,
There’d be nowhere that she could spin around,
But she proved them wrong and Spun, Any, Way!!
“I’ll wait for you!” (That’s what Jenny said.)
“And I’ll wait for you!” (That’s what Jenny said.)
“And I’ll wait for you!” (That’s what Jenny said.)
The flocking birds stayed home that day, when she went away,
The grass was green but it was mowed for hay, when she went away
